I used Trendy Chef to cater my dad's 80th birthday party. I wanted to do something different and a bit more upscale for our dad. The communication and menu suggestions were on point. Steven worked within my budget. The staff was professional and efficient. The food was amazing! Everyone at the party was impressed with many happy faces full of compliments to the chef. Chef Steven and Lanita did a fantastic job! They came out VRBO in San Diego and made a special birthday dinner for my dad’s 70th. The food was amazing, the team were kind and friendly, set up and clean up was included and everyone from our 4 year old to the 70 year old birthday boy loved the food! Thank you so much Steven! I’d highly recommend! 10/10.

We hired The Trendy Chef for our wedding. The event was a small intimate weekend micro-wedding at a large estate for about 20 people. We hired Chef Steven for both a brunch and a dinner for our wedding day. Chef Steven was fantastic! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, he and Lanita came with a warm, fun and friendly energy. All notes for any tweaks or changes made at the tasting exceeded expectations on the day. Everybody raved about the food! It was a hit! ...I dream about his mashed potatoes at dinner...my family was gushing over the lemon ricotta pancakes from brunch. We are already looking for excuses to hire him again!

Incredibly delicious food!! From the fully loaded potato salad to the white wine pasta and mac n cheese, every bite was better than the last! The chicken was juicy and the tri-tip was tender, perfectly paired with a nice chimichurri. A to-go box for later too?? Yes, please!! Definitely recommend for any event!

We hired the Trendy Chef for a Father’s Day brunch in Newport Beach and highly recommend! Food was delicious, chef was very easy to work with, paid close attention to detail which made our event extra special. We had a group of 15 in an Airbnb to celebrate and this was the perfect addition to our trip. Will definitely hire again.

Honestly Steven is the bomb. We had him do appetizers for our wedding and they were a hit! I didn't even get to talk to him or tell him how much I appreciated him because we were so busy with day of festivities but if you want someone local who is just down right down to earth, the trendy chef is where it's at! I will definitely use him again and one of our friends already booked him for one of her up coming get togethers! We also bought some of his peach BBQ sauce - delish! Thanks guys!!!

Steven was a wonderful chef to help host a private dinner party for 10 women. He was flexible with the menu, responsive in communication, made plenty of food and was very professional. You can tell by the quality of his dishes that he loves what he does. He was even so kind to stay a little longer and hang out with the girls. Make sure to get the smoked monkey bread for dessert!!

The Trendy Chef catered my 45th birthday party on a party yacht and the guest loved loved the food. The food was the bomb. My husband and I enjoyed the food tremendously. Everyone wanted to know who catered the party because the food was so good. A time was had and the food made the party what it was!!!

I found The Trendy Chef through the Thumbtack app while looking for catering for my daughter’s wedding reception. Let’s just say it was a stroke of luck finding the amazing chef Steven Moore! Not only is he an award winning Food Network chef, he is also amazing to work with. He was so accommodating to our budget and the food was absolutely incredible! The Trendy Chef Catered our wedding. We had a buffet style menu for 130 people. Comprised of Tritip, chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, garlic knots, a raspberry vinaigrette berry salad, and the monkey bread. Everyone loved his food especially the monkey bread and the tritip. His attention to detail, professionalism, and food were all exceptional. I loved having Steven and his team. They were wonderful and a pleasure to work with and were the EASIEST part of wedding planning! Definitely will be using Trendy’s services again! Thank you, Chef!!!!
